In HER Mystery School’s curriculum we meet the Crone Goddess at Samhain and in Dark Mother.
Before joining the conference at its beginning on August 1st, we will spend two days together in the HMS sisterhood visiting the practices and sensibilities of Dark Mother. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy time in a group with other HMS women, deepen your relationship to the beauty of this aspect of Goddess, and prepare you to have a richer experience of the bigger journey of the Goddess Conference.
Through Dark Mother we rest, we get resourced, we turn to the darkness as a place of solace and fortification. Our collective practice will focus on being in the experience of this particular form of nourishment, in the context of a group of women who can drop into this shared language, guided to feel this specific sustenance in a deeply embodied way.
This particular offering of time together in the field of Dark Mother, will be especially potent as it will be held on the lands of Avalon… a place of deep magic long-held by the Priestesses of that land.
Known to be the heart chakra of the planet, Glastonbury (Avalon), holds by its very nature all of the codes of what it is to be held in the deep heart of the Mother. That embrace will take us deep into our own inner place of refuge and sanctuary, where we will drink our fill from the deep well… both figuratively from our internal landscape, and literally from the external landscape of Chalice Well.

The first step to joining the HMS sisterhood for this precious and profound journey to Avalon, is to
send your $300 donation to Deonesea for the Dark Mother retreat days.
You can send that all at once or send half as a deposit now with the other half due by June 1st.
Once you’ve secured your spot with this donation, you will receive all of the information for purchasing your ticket to the Goddess Conference.
What is the Glastonbury Goddess Conference?
This pagan festival is the largest and longest standing Goddess Conference in the world. It draws people annually from all over the world to celebrate Goddess on the ancient and mystical lands of Avalon, centered in the modern day town of Glastonbury, England. For the 2023 in person Goddess Conference in Glastonbury, we will once again raise the great magical Temple of the Goddess. Here, where we may see and know Her in some of Her forms, we can offer Her our love, our grief, our longing, our joy, our beauty, our pain, our stillness, our many gifts and our hearts desires. We will take the threads of the directions that weave our way back to Her, and together enter the portal of Her Otherworld presence.
Come make pilgrimage to the Otherworld of Avalon and answer the call of the Crone Goddess.

We come to take refuge for ourselves and to hold refuge for each other.
We are gathering to drink from a deeper well, and if you join us, the requirement is that we all protect this holy place of meeting from our own stories and those of the current overculture, so that we can listen to a deeper Knowing, bathe in a clearer stream.
For this time, the current "conversation" is not our concern. The story of humanity's current transformation is not our focus. Our focus is on forging stronger alliance and intimacy with the ancient deep feminine current that has already companioned millennia of humanity's changes, and companions us still if we turn toward Her.

Excluded from Cost: All travel costs - airfare, train/bus/cab fare from participant's location to Glastonbury, accommodations, any travel insurance, personal and shopping expenses, food, alcoholic beverages.
The closest airport to Glastonbury is Bristol Airport, and there are daily trains and buses from the London airports to Glastonbury. You can reach out to Deonesea for help in planning your travel itinerary.
There are currently too many hard costs to make either trades or scholarships possible, but extended payment plans are absolutely an option. This will be such a precious, powerful, extraordinary time together. I want to be with you all! If you are called to come, and finances seem a little daunting, then let's just strategize and get you there somehow.

There are many wonderful and affordable options for places to stay in Glastonbury on AirBnb. I recommend choosing accommodation close to the High Street as that's where we'll gather each day.
FOOD OPTIONS:
You will need to provide all of your own food for all of your meals throughout the week/weekend. There are many great restaurants in Glastonbury, as well as a couple of nice markets.
WEATHER:
You can expect typical English summertime weather, so come prepared with layers
and for the possibility of rain.
