SUNDAY STUDY HALLS
Not quite a Sunday service, not quite a webinar, Sunday Study Halls are one hour long pop up teaching/practice sessions devoted to deep feminine wisdom teachings around specific themes, issues, or turns of the seasonal wheel.

The structure is simple - we will gather together, I will share with you some of the most relevant wisdom hacks, power moves, and deep feminine perspectives on the topic, we will share a short practice together, and then complete.
These are designed to be as low impact and high nourishment as possible:

These are largely intended to be about receiving rather than discussion and sharing, but they will include an optional 15-30 minute sharing and discussion time after our "official" hour together

We will excerpt the guided practice (which will be newly created for each topic) and send it to you for ease of access and ongoing support
Whenever I get inspired or when a consistent theme emerges I will put a Sunday Study Hall together and those of you who feel sparked by the topic can come geek out with me on the sacred nature of all the things. :)​​​

Abundance - All That You Need and Just a Little Bit More
During our time together this Sunday we will saturate, luxuriate and decompress in the true nature of Abundance.

Abundance is both the result of deep feminine potency and a necessary ingredient for cultivating it. So it simply cannot be dependent on external circumstances, wealth, or even external ease.
​
The true nature of abundance as defined here is "all that you need and just a little bit more." Enough and a little more than enough but not more than that. We are looking for saturation and decompressi0n, not excess. Not the depleted strivings of fear.

Enough time. Enough space. Enough room to breathe. Enough of your own true nature. Enough and a little more than enough, but not more than that.

Yearning Wasn't Ever Meant to Torture You
This Sunday we will be working with deep feminine principles and sensibilities that will remind you how to live with your yearnings as a fullness rather than a torturous deficit.
Yearning is by its very nature a longing for what you do not yet have, or honestly, may never have. Sounds (and often feels) wretched.

However. Longing is an intrinsic and sacred, necessary part of deep feminine nature. So we must have missed the memo. There's no way we were created for inherent agony.
​
Longing carries its own fulfillment. It is a fullness, not a deficit. Together we'll get down to some good work in relationship to your yearnings, as simple or as passionate as they may be.

We can be surrounded by the Good but if we're too exhausted, dysregulated, terrified or in pain, we simply won't be able to take it in. In our hardest places we often end up exiled from what relief or comfort is with us, however small or grand it may be.
There are simple, skillful means that you can use to ensure that when you are most in need you are also available to the help that is here for you.

Honey in Your Heart, Nested and Uncaged
This Sunday we tend to your heart. We will meet her as she is, in all her mystery, courage, fear, love and pain....... and then we will attend to her with the sweetest, wisest of skillful means.
Regardless of all things, there should be honey in your heart, she should rest in you nested and uncaged, and she must fill to overflowing. Often. Regardless of circumstance.

Tending to the heart is not hard to do, but it can be counterintuitive to conditioned habits of reaching for love, trying too hard, or exhausting her flame in places you were never meant to go.

Clarify, Purify, and Unsuffocate
the Light in You
In celebration of Summer Solstice, the height of the sun, the longest day, the strongest light, we will clarify, purify, and unsuffocate the light in you.

Remembering and invoking the balance point - the longest night and the purifying darkness - we will extinguish all false lights, we will relieve and prune back all excess, we will consolidate your flame so that it burns bright, clear, true and sustainable.
​
This is a time marked by abundance and also the depletion that can come from too much, too fast, too bright. We will differentiate between abundance and excess, true and false light, what nourishes versus what simply overstimulates, and bring you back into the ease and enoughness of your unsuffocated vitality.

FREE - Are You an Unconscious Priestess?
First a request: Please don’t get too hung up on our chosen word for this ultimately unnameable incarnation of Womanhood. There are many other words. Healer, she who tends the sacred, protectress, mother, lover, gatekeeper, torchbearer, oracle, keeper of Memory, keeper of the keys, chalice, initiator, temple dancer, and on. And I mean I could go on. And on and on. :) Let’s keep it simple here and go with priestess - a woman who is vowed to serve the sacred, as a vessel for it.
So to be an unconscious priestess in this context could mean one of two things:
Possibly, you are unaware that what you are doing, how you are serving, and how you’re functioning in your world is as a priestess. In other words, you are tending to the sacred in deep feminine way, likely by instinct and calling but quite possibly without the level of understanding you need in order to just be what you are in a good way. In a safe and functional way. There are crucial skills and sensibilities that make it a gift rather than a burden to be this kind of woman in a world that no longer explicitly acknowledges her role.
​
Or…..​
You could be aware of what you are, but not yet fully sober to the level of discipline, skillful means, and integrity that it demands. Deep feminine potency is redemptive, compelling, and luminous. It can also be intoxicating, delusional, and misused. In other words you may not be unconscious of the fact that you are serving as priestess, but you may not yet be fully aware of the full rights and responsibilities of the role. It is a beautiful, powerful, vulnerable thing to hold deep feminine presence in a world that is starving for it but has no idea how to be with it.
So this Sunday we will first sit with this question, shamelessly.
Are you an unconscious priestess?
And then whatever the answer, we will drink from the cup of remembrance in Her name.

Every Woman Loves to be Taken
Really, every woman NEEDS to be taken. Often. This Sunday’s study hall we’ll unpack this together.
It’s all about surrender. From the bedroom to your meditation cushion to the moments of facing your darkest places, your deepest feminine nature will be yearning for true surrender.
True surrender: we’re talking about that which allows big forces and feelings to have their way with you and leave you better for it. This is as much the key to being suitably ravished as it is the key to feeling safe enough to let go of your pain. Or to be fully penetrated by the divine. Or to be deeply nourished by the enoughness, the contentment of the generous moment. It’s the key to so many aspects of a deeply seated, secure and satiated feminine potency.
Together we’ll work with the state of true surrender, what it requires and what it allows.

Misdirected Sacred Needs
In the school, we define sacred needs as needs that will not rest until they’re met, largely because they are necessary for the full becoming of your nature, the fulfillment of deep feminine potential. Some examples of sacred needs are: to be seen, to be cherished, to be sheltered, to be free, to be attuned to, to know truth.
​
Here’s the thing. The fact that they’re necessities doesn’t mean that all of a sudden the world, your intimacies, or your relationships are somehow automatically beholden to meet them. It’s amazing when they do, no question. But intimacies can be crushed by relentless pressure to meet your sacred needs, people and situations hit the limits of their capacities and/or willingness to meet them, and we hit the edge at which it becomes intolerable for them to remain unmet. How miserable.
​
So in this Sunday study hall we will all turn back to the fundamental truth - our sacred needs contain the seed of their own fulfillment but we have to be willing to tend to them and to their fulfillment with or without another. They are relational, yes. But too often they are misdirected and therefore create agony rather than fulfillment. We will be working with several ways in which you can avoid this agony by identifying and skillfully reorienting sacred needs that have been misdirected towards people, places, or situations that can’t or won’t meet them.

Pornography. Of Course We Have to Go There.
This Sunday Study Hall is a non-moralized, non-oppositional consideration of the costs and impacts of pornography. Definitely for you if you have felt hurt, demoralized, dehumanized, betrayed or even just confused by the impact of porn on you or your intimate relationships. Not necessarily for you if you have no issues with porn, although very helpful if you want to understand women or partners who do. This will make a lot of sense to you if you experience a partner’s use of pornography as an infidelity, a source of insecurity, or a non-negotiable (that you may still be trying to negotiate anyway).
I have wanted to speak to this for so long. We’ll be drawing on insights from the deep feminine wisdom stream, taoist cultivation, the sacred marriage and successful alchemy. We’ll also be drawing on all that I learned the hard way from losing a marriage (and so much more) to porn addiction. This will probably go longer than an hour. :)
​
When I declare this will be non-moralized, I mean that. I will be addressing the energetic mechanics of pornography, the costs and the impact without resorting to oversimplified dogmatic moralities of right and wrong. This is a complex and sensitive topic and I will treat it as such.

And Then Sometimes You Feel Totally Nonsexual
This Sunday Study Hall is devoted to a topic that arises frequently in the school and that deserves a restoration of sacred context. Sometimes (sometimes for very long times) women enter a period of feeling decidedly “nonsexual.” Now there could be many apparent reasons for this - accumulated tension with a partner, stress, betrayal, etc. - but under all that one thing is certain: Your body is wise and can be trusted with this. It’s not just a shut down. It’s not because you’re asexual or broken in some way. You haven’t been exiled from your passions.
​
The full spectrum of female sexuality is celibacy to ecstatic union and everything in between. Times when you feel nonsexual are actually times of powerful cultivation IF you repair context around them and tend to your dormancy with skillful means. Whether it’s been years or you just feel like you’re in a stagnant phase or even if it’s not an issue now but you want to have a broader understanding of all the faces of female sexual power, this is such crucial deep feminine wisdom to have.

Lunar Beltane! Celebrating the Maker of Kings
We will celebrate Beltane together with an invocation of the rites of the sacred marriage. We will remember together the consecrated roles of priestess and king. In the rite of the sacred marriage, kingship is bestowed through sexual union with a priestess who embodies Woman as the earth of being, She who anoints, and the fount of all generative good.
We will consider, in your world and particularly in your relationships, what it is to anoint in the name of the holy, to bestow kingship, to elicit nobility in your men, and to reunify your lovemaking with the good of all creation. This is a gorgeous turn of the wheel, promising new life, fruition, right relationship, and a re-sanctification of your beautiful body as the Maker of Kings.

Clearing Past Lovers
A revisit of the DailyOM course where seeds for HER Mystery School began to grow, this Sunday Study Hall is devoted to clearing past lovers. More of a guided clearing and gentle ritual of completion, this will have very little teaching and mostly doing. We’re going to get to work. :)
Choose a specific intimacy that troubles you or remains unresolved, either because it was so good or so bad. Together we will harvest wisdom, recover personal power, resolve lingering pain, and lay it to rest.
This is connected to restoration of virginity and is supported by womb clearing, but it is not necessary to have attended the previous Sunday. Don’t worry - if you have more than one you can just repeat with the recording and tend to as many past loverships as you need.

Restoration of Virginity
This Sunday Study Hall is devoted to the restoration of virginity. What that means, why it’s so important, and how to do it. Returning again and again to your state as One Unto Yourself is a core practice and discipline necessary for cultivating deep feminine potency, personal integrity, and all the good relationships that grow from that place. Restoration of virginity supports this return to your intact and incorruptible essential nature, specifically in relationship to creative endeavors, sexual intimacies and the complex dynamics that they often engender.

We’ll work with tending to the sacred bowl/womb, restoring energetic integrity and clarity. Simple, beautiful, deeply nourishing - this practice is particularly powerful as a group. This is a great preparation for clearing past lovers, the focus of next Sunday’s study hall.

The Apocalypse Can Be Exhausting...... Please Allow Me to Minister to Your Depletions
This Sunday's study hall is devoted to the restoration of your deepest reserves.
The Apocalypse.
Noun, defn.: The Great Reveal.
"I'm not sure where it's headed, but this apocalypse is exhausting."
In times of great reveal, when things and people and ourselves are shown to be what they and we always secretly were (for better and worse), much is stripped away. Such as...... our coping mechanisms, our addictions to convenience or fantasy, our lazy reliance on polarized low resolution thinking, and (hardest of all) many convictions, relationships, and truths that we cherished or relied on.

We are forced to draw on a deeper place of reserve because anything less than soul force just doesn't cut it.
This Sunday's study hall is devoted to specific skillful means that replenish the deeper reserves of soul force and resilience that these times of unmaking require.
We need more than sleep, good nutrition and reasonable amounts of caffeine. Much of the time we even need more than our own best wisdom, vision, community and good intentions.

Pick a Relationship. Any Relationship.
As we get closer to Equinox, our focus turns to returning to center and the life-giving ways of holy wisdom.
Holy Wisdom: n. That which brings all things into right relationship, right timing, right proportion and right action.
This Sunday Study Hall is devoted to tending to your relationships. Pick any relationship that you sense has gone a little off, or where you have lost center or orientation. This could be an intimate relationship, familial relationship, your relationship to greater world events, or even your relationship to God.
Together then we will employ the skillful means of the deep feminine wisdom stream to bring that relationship into greater coherency, sobriety, fulfillment and freedom.

This One's for the Empaths!
It is not at all uncommon for women in the school to have a sense or already a knowing that they are empaths by nature. There are gifts to this certainly but very often in our world today it ends up being more or less of a burden.

Tend to What is Troubling You
This Sunday Study Hall is devoted to tending to what's troubling you. Whatever it is. We will do this by clarifying the difference between your trustworthy Knowing that something is off or "wrong," and the less than useful but often closely paired anxiety and angst that may be tormenting you related to that Knowing.
Come prepared with an awareness of something that is troubling you, from the most intimately personal to the more collective.

Pick just ONE thing that troubles you, because we'll be engaged in transmission and practices that will restore sacred context and agency in the face of your trouble AND generate clarity, right action, and a reunification with the Knowing that will guide you through.
One hour of devoted and skillful tending to what troubles you will bring relief to helpless anxiety, desperation, and the creeping sense of entrapment in circumstances beyond your control.
